I came home early today, right after Tammy's intern presentation was over. I laid down most of the afternoon and evening, hoping to relieve some of the pain. It works once I can get comfortable and lay there for a while, but when I get up, it doesn't feel any better. :P

Anyway, Anthony bought me the TMNT DVD on the way home from work, which was sweet of him. I got the special edition from Target. I've watched everything on there, and it's cool that they have some cut scenes to watch, but does anyone know if it's possible to turn Kevin Munroe's voice off? I'd love to be able to hear what the turtles are actually saying in those scenes. And ummm...I don't mean to nitpick, but why the HELL didn't the turtle voice actors get any recognition at all? I don't give a flying rat's ass about Laurence Fishburne and Buffy. :P Where are those cool guys I met at the premiere, who are actually, you know, THE STARS OF THE SHOW? Ah well...

It seems Chelsea let slip to a few of the interns in other departments that we watch anime at lunch. Before I knew it, I had three people from another department standing around in my office trying to watch the screen. It's not that I really mind per say, but there is really NO room for added people in there, and it would have been nice if they'd asked first. They came in at a really strange part over half way through an episode too, so they had no earthly clue what was going on, especially since we're almost all the way through with the first Saiyuki series (which is 50 eps long). It was hillarious though when Gojyo leaned over beside Sanzo to light his cigarette and the one new intern guy asked, "So, is this like Brokeback Mountain?" LOL!

One last thing--I heard back from the lady at the shelter today. She was very nice. Apparently, just about all of the dogs in urgent need of fosters already have them, but most of those people agreed to keep them only until the 12th. So if they still need temporary homes after the big "Adopt a Pet" event they're doing on Sunday, we may have a furry companion or two for two or three weeks. ;)
